Overview

Ntara is searching for a highly motivated, results-driven professional who can apply their past experience in digital marketing and lead generation to the outbound marketing strategies for our agency. The Marketing Manager will work closely with members of our leadership team to build and scale a new lead generation strategy that aligns with our company positioning, reaches our intended target audiences, and captures marketing-qualified leads.

 

A successful Marketing Manager needs to be:

 

A lead gen machine.

Lead generation is about volume and quality—and you need to keep a consistent focus on both. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for generating a specific number of leads for the agency each quarter. You will also be accountable for the quality of those leads and will continually work to optimize our lead gen efforts.

 

A digital marketing guru.

You’ve successfully conceptualized, executed, and optimized integrated marketing campaigns of all shapes and sizes. You are a master of digital marketing. You have an expert understanding of PPC, email, SEO, and social media. You have a successful track record in multiple platforms. And you live for tracking performance and continually optimizing.

 

A true partner.

As a marketing manager, you will work hand-in-hand with our leadership team and our technology partners to identify opportunities, nurture prospects, capture qualified leads, and pass them off to our accounts team. You must be a consultative partner who is equally capable working autonomously and collaborating with a variety of roles, both within our organization and with our platform partners. 

 

Primary requirements

  • Four-year degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a digital marketing role (should include experience with outbound email programs, email list growth, lead scoring, pay-per-click, paid and organic social media, and search engine optimization)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with buyer personas, customer journey mapping, and message mapping
  • Experience planning for and representing brand(s) at trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
  • Experience writing for an executive audience via website copy, case studies, presentations, and print
  • Collaboration experience with strategists, copywriters, analysts, developers, and executives
  • Experience creating and remaining accountable to a content/marketing calendar
  • Experience reporting on integrated marketing campaigns, identifying opportunities for improvement, and pitching recommendations to all levels of an organization

 

Bonus points – the ideal candidate will also have

  • Demonstrated track record of lead generation for an agency/business
  • Experience comarketing with strategic platform partners
  • A thorough understanding of content management systems, product information management, and ecommerce
  • Experience cold calling and/or reaching out to new prospects via social media
